“Tracie takes so much care before your day to work out timing, what you want and don't want. She made me feel at ease with how the day was going to go.”
Real, authentic coverage
I approach each wedding day with a documentary eye. I don't alter the events that are happening in front of me or set up moments. I let them unfold naturally and capture what I see. People often tell me, "I didn't even know you were there," and that's what I'm striving for. I don't want the logistics of the photography to interfere with your experience of your wedding celebration.
I focus my coverage on what you tell me is most important to you. So if you don't want to do couples portraits, or a first look just isn't your thing, I'll adjust to that.
Before the big day
Having a good plan is part of my process, and helps things run smoothly on your day. Our first meeting is a great chance for me to understand your priorities and vision.
After booking I'm always available for any questions you have as you decide on your timeline and details. Couples often ask me to weigh in on lighting, family formals lists, timing of events, and everything in between.
Then, one to two weeks prior to your wedding we'll have a conversation where we go over all the final details of the day together.
The photos
I deliver a sneak peek of images within a few days of the event. The full collection of images takes 4 to 6 weeks for me to edit and deliver. I don't cap the number of images that I include. If a photo is good, you get it. I upload all of the final, edited images to an online gallery and you can share that with anyone you want and download directly from it.
If you or your family members are interested in a printed wedding album, we can include that upon booking or anytime afterward. I work with my favorite album company to design beautiful books in a variety of styles.

FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Philadelphia, about a 2- hour drive south of New York City. And yes, I love to travel! 150 miles one-way travel from my home in Philly is included in every package. Travel beyond 150 miles from my home would be worked into each package at the time of booking. I work anywhere in the U.S. and abroad.
Do you do small weddings?
Yes! I love smaller celebrations. I've photographed afternoon weddings at city hall as well as reception-only events for ceremonies that happened in another location. Although I haven't photographed an elopement yet, I would really love to.
Can you do multi-day coverage?
Yes, multi-day packages are common when I'm traveling for a wedding, but can be created for any celebration.
Do you do family or engagement shoots?
I do! I photograph family sessions, private and corporate events, and engagement sessions. Feel free to reach out for further information and an estimate.
Do we need a second photographer?
At most wedding celebrations it's a good idea to have a second photographer. The second can help capture the full story when important events are happening at the same time. For instance, if each member of the couple is getting ready at the same time or of details need to be photographed while family photos are happening. Also, a second photographer gives me more time and flexibility to get really creative with the images that I'm making. That being said, it is possible for me to work alone and for some smaller gatherings, it makes sense to just have one photographer.
Do you back everything up?
Absolutely. I shoot with cameras that have two memory card slots. So on your wedding day, all of the images I take are being backed up redundantly as I'm shooting them. After the wedding day, I back all of the files up on a redundant hard drive system, so that even if one of my hard drives goes bad I'll still have the files backed up on other hard drives as well.
How many photos will we receive?
For 9 hours of wedding coverage, the collection tends to be about 500 images. I don't cap the number of images that I deliver to a client though. If I think an image is good, it will be included in the final collection. For a shorter wedding or a different type of shoot, I can tell you how many photos to expect when I create your estimate.
How do you deliver our wedding photos?
I provide the final wedding images through an online gallery. You can download individual images or the whole collection. You can also share the gallery link with family and friends and they can download images as well. All downloads are free. The gallery remains available online for 3 months. If you wish to keep your online wedding gallery active for longer than 3 months, this can be done by request for a maintenance fee.
Can we get a wedding album?
Yes, I work with a boutique album company to provide beautiful printed and bound wedding albums. There are several different styles to choose from. You can add the albums when you book your package or at any point before or after your wedding day.
What happens if we lose our wedding photos?
I keep copies of all your wedding photos indefinitely. If you ever lose them you can always contact me to get copies.
How does payment work?
A retainer of 50% of the package price is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 7 days before your event date.
Do you accept credit cards?
No, I don't accept credit cards currently.
